Chef Point Cafe on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives

by Josie on March 24, 2009

Fire up your Tivo Fort Worth! On January 6th, Guy Fieri of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives paid a visit to Chef Franson Nwaeze of Chef Point Cafe in Watauga to film a segment for the show.  The episode airs Monday April 6 at 9PM on The Food Network.

Chef Point Cafe serves up gourmet grub in a gas station (yes, a gas station).  With a motto of “white tablecloth dining without the white tablecloth” Chef Point Cafe can safely claim to be the area’s only gourmet gas station.   Dishes such as escargot, mussels, lobster bisque, and duck make this place a must visit for any foodie.  Who knew a Conoco could be culinary?

It’s nice to have a bunch of locals coming up on DDD…

Massey’s and Fred’s Texas Cafe will both be featured soon…

Oooo Didn’t know about Massey’s, that should be good-I haven’t been there since I was kid. I’m trying to find out when the Fred’s episode will air.
