Teresa Gubbins at Pegasus News reports that Fort Worth celebrity chef Tim Love will be opening up a second branch of The Love Shack. Ground was just broken at the SoSeven development on the West Side of Fort Worth. FortWorthology also discussed the possibility of a SoSeven location of The Love Shack, now it’s confirmed.
I met with Tim a few months ago and he hinted at another Fort Worth location of The Love Shack but wouldn’t confirm the location. He mentioned that the new location would have an enclosed area in addition to a large patio and musical acts. The original Love Shack in the Stockyards is all open air. This is great news for those wanting some cheap and good eats near all the new development in the 7th street area. No opening date has been set. YES! I am excited about this development. I stumbled into the Love Shack about a year and a half ago and since then no burger has measured up to the Dirty Love. Only complaint = cash only. I’d probably eat there 3 times a much as I do if I didn’t have to get money out of the ATM (I’m not a planner, if you can tell) Kudos to Tim Love and thanks for the excellent burger. It’s just about the only one my wife will eat anymore. You’ll definitely find us at the new location.
