Magnolia Avenue Restaurant Series

by Josie on November 20, 2009

Spiral DinerYou’ll find a little pocket of hipness on Magnolia Avenue in Fort Worth. Over the years independent restaurants have moved into unused storefronts and gas stations and turned them into some of the most unique dining spots in Fort Worth.

Each restaurant serves a distinct cuisine and has helped Magnolia emerge as a true restaurant row in Fort Worth. Whatever type of food you may be in the mood for, chances are you’ll find it along Magnolia. Add in some other independent businesses like Panther City Bikes and the soon to be opened The Usual (a bar specializing in Prohibition Era Cocktails) and you’ve got quite the indie scene developing as well.

I thought I’d highlight the eateries on Magnolia Avenue with a series of mini-reviews. If you haven’t been to Magnolia Avenue in Fort Worth through this series perhaps you’ll find a restaurant that suits your tastes so that you can be a part of supporting this growing area in Fort Worth.
