First Friday at The Modern 5PM – 8PM
If you haven’t taken in the Andy Warhol: The Last Decade exhibit yet First Friday is a good time to check it out. Listen to tunes by Lost Country as you sip on the specialty cocktail, The Bunny Rabbit.
At 7:30PM there will be a free screening of Fallen Angel in the museum auditorium. This is a 24 minute documentary about Fort Worth’s acclaimed and sadly now disbanded Bruce Wood Dance Company. As a longtime Bruce Wood Dance Company fan I’m looking forward to this film and the chance to see some footage of my favorite BWDC moments. Watch the Trailer here.
Discover what Chef Dena Peterson cooks up at the Cafe Modern by reserving a spot for dinner from 6:30 – 8:30, call 817.840.2174 for reservations.
Other nearby spots include Fred’s, J&J’s Oyster Bar and Love Shack So7.
