I don’t know about you but I’m in the midst of some serious Spring Fever. After enduring the coldest and snowiest winter that I can remember I’m loving the warm weather that has finally arrived in Fort Worth. All I want to do is get outside and enjoy the sunshine with a cold beverage and a nice meal.
Here’s a few great spots for outdoor dining in Fort Worth, of course there are many more and I’ll continue to add on to this list. This is the perfect time to get out and enjoy Fort Worth alfresco before the sweltering heat of summer hits and we take refuge inside to our precious air conditioning.
Joe T. Garcia’s
The granddaddy of all outdoor dining spaces in Fort Worth. This space is one of the largest in Fort Worth and there is lush landscaping everywhere you look. At night little strings of light add ambiance. The atmosphere is hard to beat and may explain the long line to get in during the warmer months. Oh and they make a mean margarita too!
Fort Worth’s old school stomping grounds is still a great outdoor spot for gulping down a schooner of beer on a hot day. On weekend nights you can always catch some live music.
Bistro Louise always keeps it classy and the outdoor patio is no exception. This terrace feels a bit more relaxed than the indoor dining room and is inspired by the Provence countryside.
Love Shack Cowtown
Perch yourself above Exchange Avenue on the deck of The Love Shack for a great view of Cowtown and all the action from motorcycles to cattle drives. Grab a Dirty Love Burger and a Lone Star and you’re set.
Love Shack So7
I’ve been spending quite a few sunny Saturday afternoons enjoying the Westside location of The Love Shack. Kid friendly activities such as chalk and washers keep the kids occupied while the grown-ups can enjoy a beer or a margarita. This is a popular spot so be prepared to grab the first table you can find.
Ok, so I’m not the biggest Chimy’s fan but they do have a cozy little patio. If you’re looking for a margarita or a bucket of beers and some nachos Chimy’s has got you covered.
The Pour House
The Pour House patio is always buzzing. Enjoy their specialty drinks like the Berry Acai Sour or The Killer Bunny (made for sharing) along with the Fried Red Onion Burger or the Baha Fish Tacos.
Take a lunch alfresco at this low key spot in the Cultural District. The shaded patio will keep you cool along with a tall glass of their Peach Tea. You must try their Chicken Salad sandwich, some call it the best in town.
The beautiful patio at Chadra Mezza is fully covered and surrounded by beautiful plantings. Their lunch buffet is a great deal at $8.95 or share some food among friends with the Chadra Mezza platter of 10 appetizers.
Piola’s patio is a hidden gem on the Westside of Fort Worth. A romantic dinner spot especially under the stars and sipping some refreshing Prosecco.
