by no means claim to have any sort of sophisticated palate. Good food
is good food – whether it’s fine dining or funnel cake.
I also am committed to eating locally or regionally grown food whenever possible. Since few restaurants can commit to this I’ll try and show how I use locally grown, seasonal food in my own home cooking.
If I find places worth writing about I’ll tell you where to find them. If I’m not out and about checking out Fort Worth’s food offerings I’ll fill in with random and cool Funkytown happenings. Check in to see what’s up!

Just a quick note to say how much I appreciate your reviews. My husband and I just moved to Fort Worth and having lived in Austin for years and most recently Chicago, we’re bummed by how unenthusiastic the local food scene seems to be! So your thorough reviews and local perspective make for a great guide to our new dining adventures.

We Kelly’s from Austin agree! I was born and raised there but have lived in the Metroplex since coming for college and getting married to a local. The lack of unique dining experiences has been hard to cope with but I’m finding blogs like this are so incredibly helpful. Recently my family actually opened their own restaurant and I’m now even more involved in the food scene. Keep up the great work Josie and thank you for your palate passion!
