Fort Worth Restaurants are now allowed to provide margaritas for curbside pick up
Anyone else out there feel like Margaritas are the official “unofficial” cocktail of Fort Worth? I certainly do. That’s part of the reason I created Fort Worth’s first Taco & Margarita Tour. Did you know you can now pick up margaritas curbside in Fort Worth?
Even though we can’t indulge in an afternoon of margaritas at a restaurant, you can still enjoy your margs at home. Thanks to a loosening of the Texas liquor laws during Covid-19 you can now pick up margaritas or “margarita kits” in Fort Worth with your food orders.
Until we can all sit on a patio and enjoy a margarita with friends, here are your next best options. You can always re-create the experience by sitting on your porch or patio or just open a window. Make it social by Face timing some friends or fire up a laptop for a Zoom Happy Hour while enjoying a refreshing margarita (or two).
If you’re looking to upgrade your margarita rims, I use Halo de Santo spicy salts. They are a local company and their salts add an extra layer of flavor to margaritas (and micheladas).
Taco Heads – 1812 Montgomery St 76107
Taco Heads has some of the best tacos in town and their margaritas are on par with their tacos. They are here to serve you the food that makes us all happy – TACOS! They are offering a Margarita Kit for curbside pick up that includes a small bottle of tequila and serves 5 margaritas for $45.00. (And you get a bonus packet of Halo de Santo rim salt!). This is a great combo with their 6 Tacos Apart Party pack of tacos that includes a mix & match of breakfast or regular tacos, black beans and chips.
Righteous Foods – 3405 W 7th St 76107

I recently ordered the fajita meal for my family and we loved the meal. It came with all the fixins’ – rice, beans and tortillas. I added their signature Himalayan sea salt margaritas to the order and I’m happy to report they are as delicious as ever. The margaritas come pre-mixed in a sealed juice container and come with two cups rimmed with their sea-salt mix. All you have to do is shake, add ice, pour and enjoy.
